1952 Royal Doulton Rustic England Square Serving Dish / Fruit Bowl D6297

A lovely 1952 Royal Doulton Rustic England Square Serving Dish / Fruit Bowl D6297. "Rustic England' is one of a Charles Noke designed series ware patterns and was made from 1936 to 1960.

The scalloped edge, eight sided, square dish is beautifully printed with a country scene of dogs, a donkey and geese, and is in very good condition with vibrant colours and no chips, cracks or restoration. It does have small manufacturing defects including bubbles, black marks in the glaze and a glazing mark (see image). 

The base is marked with the Royal Doulton post 1930s back stamp, the pattern number D6297, (which dates to 1952), and Rustic England.
